oh Valentines day

From my Urban Dictionary "quote of the day"

Valentime-out: A strategic short term break-up with a significant other immediately preceeding Valentine's Day designed to avoid having to purchase expensive gifts, buy dinner, and/or say nice things on Valentines Day, yet still preserve the ability to resume the relationship shortly thereafter.

I really can't afford to take Magda out for Valentines Day, so I think i will have to take a Valentime-out from her until next week.

oh sun where are you? Please make an appearance soon! I am getting really tired of the gray days. January is finally coming to an end and February will be here and lots of new things will be happening!!

So all of the calanders at a kiosk at the mall were on sale for $4.99, so i bought a word of the day one, it is called Urban Dictionary and it is hilarious. here is todays:

"People Voice"-The voice someone uses when talking to people who aren't their friends. This voice is automatically happy, nicer, and sweeter then their normal voice; it is also often high pitched. This is the voice people use when answering a telephone, talking to their boss, or when working in retail.

"She so used her people voice when she was talking to that customer over there. Did you hear how sweet she was? She never sounds like that normally!"

January

Okay, i am really trying not to wish the months away, that being said i am very happy that January is on the downward slope!! Linus is too, he has a hard time pooping in the snow-he just doesn't get it, poor little dude.

Well, got up early got ready for work, get to work, start to do my "morning" opening duties and then i find out I close and not open!! UGH!!! SO now i am at home and waiting to go BACK into work later. AWESOME. Had plan of working out after work, that won't be happening-obviously.

So why the picture of the fairy? welll because she is pretty and makes me happy.

So, its been awhile....

SOOOOO, i haven't written on my blog for almost 3 years! lol, wow time flies!! Kinda forget how all of this works, i REALLY need to change the hot pink background-but not sure how-lol.

Off today and just enjoying my day with Linus. He is currently snoozing on the couch right next to me-love him. Made it to spin class and will do pilates later, time to lose the spare tire!! hahaha :)
